Greetings from Taiwan:
“Praise the Lord. Givethanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Ps 106:1) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Last Lord’s Day, we had Come Church, with over 50 souls in attendance. Following worship we had a Thanksgiving fellowship meal. We had several visitors present, including some from my Monday nightEnglish Bible class. Please pray for the Kingdom to grow here in Taichung and throughout Taiwan, as we labor to “bring in the sheaves!”
On Tuesday of this week is the monthly golf outing. This month it is a bus outing to a new course for our group. Please pray as it is our hope to begin the 8 Miracles of John study with several of these men.
On Wednesday we’ll be making the annual Formosa Christian Mission / Team Expansion pilgrimage to Lotung, for Thanksgiving, and staying for three nights. There is a really large group coming this year. Brenda will be spending lots of time in the kitchen this week, as many of you will! Please pray for safe travels for everyone. Also, there is much to be thankful for, as the new home for the orphanage is nearing completion. We’re so thankful for the faithfulness of Ted & Bev Skiles, and the team of servants that daily bless the Home of God’s Love. Please pray for wisdom as they chart the course ahead.
Please pray for the live nativity — still awaiting confirmation for the park we’d like to rent!
We are thankful for you, too, who have faithfully partnered with us for so many years! What a blessing you are to us! Happy Thanksgiving!
