Training in Lima, Peru

By: Miguel Faundez

On October the 22nd, Myself and Nemesio Paredes, Director of Adalid Peru, joined to develop a Youth Ministry and Leadership Training in the city of Lima, Peru. Around 40 leaders and youth pastors attended for a one day seminar. Some of them traveled over 20 hours to be part of this training. Participants were very active and involved during the whole learning process. Through dialogue education, interaction and practical action steps these leaders left the training inspired and with a renewed commitment to continue serving the new generations in their communities. As a result of this training, YouthHOPE received the invitation to return to Peru in 2017 to develop the 3 days training with key regional and denominational leaders across the country. Pray for those who attended this seminar and for the future efforts in this south american nation.

Hick’s Update from Cambodia

By: April Rothweiler

After long travel, Jordan and Brittany Hicks have been welcomed into the Legacy of Hope International (LOHI) family with open arms and generous hospitality! They are now beginning a weekly routine of learning the Khmer language, teaching a public speaking class, tutoring English, discipleship, investing in the staff, and hanging out with students in the dorm ministry. On Sundays, they visit village ministries and attend worship at the city church. They are excited to join LOHI in their mission to prevent human trafficking through education and youth involvement in church multiplication.

During their first week, Jordan and Brittany had the honor of facilitating a retreat for the LOHI staff. This was a great time of building deeper relationships and learning how they can serve alongside the other staff during their apprenticeship. There are so many needs and so many things to learn. Pray for the Hicks as they learn about life in Cambodia and ministry with LOHI.

Giving Tuesday is almost here! Mark your calendars for November 29th and pencil in youthHOPE as your recipient this year! YOU can help us make a greater impact for the kingdom with your one time tax-deductible donation to our organization!

“Everyone talks about church ministry, but neglect the youth. YouthHOPE has helped us take the next right step.” Bobby John; India.

With a new year comes new changes and challenges in how we reach youth with the gospel in far and forgotten places. This month two of our team members, Aaron and Jesse, have traveled to China and Vietnam to see just how we can make an impact for Jesus in two completely different cultures that need . We want to invite YOU to be a part of this vision and goal.

In January we will be launching the School of Youth Ministry Trainers (SYMT) in India. This has been a dream for us and you have helped make it possible! This trainer of trainers program will allow a larger, waterfall affect for youth ministry in other nations!

This is only one of the many exciting things in the works for 2017! Your partnership
enables us to follow Jesus lead into unreached and under resourced nations without
having to worry about financial stresses. You are making a kingdom impact far greater than you will ever know! Thank you!

Our financial need for this next year is upwards of $75,000.

How much will you give in partnership with us today?

ICOM 2017

By: April Rothweiler

Each year the youthHOPE team travels to a different state to offer workshops at the International Conference on Missions (ICOM). This year we will be in Kentucky from Nov 17-20 hosting workshops on girls’ education, being a global change agent, and impacting global youth for the cause of Christ. This conference allows us to speak into the lives of hundreds of youth that have a passion for Jesus, and encourage them to be ministry minded in a dark and dying world. Teaching is something we love and desire to do to make Jesus famous. We have the opportunity show others how the investment in youth has global impact!

We ask that you:
•Pray for us as we go to reach youth for youth
•Follow us through the website and ICOM app updates
•Sponsor part of the travel costs for our team

Our investment in global youth through ministry with youthHOPE is truly a God-led opportunity. We are so thankful to be called to this work and to be “living the dream!”
