| The Christmas decorations are put away. We’ve marked our entry into 2014. And tomorrow we resume our fortnightly PrayerFlash! with a brief ministry update and prayer requests for the next two weeks.
Before that routine resumes, we have two items to menton to you.
First, we can’t help but express our gratitude for the ROC (Reach Out on Campus) ministry team who conclude their ten day trip with us tomorrow. They’ve been a great team. We’ve taught them some disciple making movement principles and they’ve helped Dickens Heath Village Church and thethirdplace with a New Year’s party, two days of holiday clubs, worship services, creative outreach, prayer walking, discovery Bible studies and leaflet distribution. All of it, we might add, with flexibility, as learners, and with servant’s hearts…not to mention lots of humor and laughter! Please express a prayer of gratitude to our Father for their visit with us.
Second, our colleagues within the CMF office who advise us on these sorts of things suggest we mention our‘Indescribable Gift’ (click on the link to give) request to you one more time. Our first thought is that it seems repetitous. But our colleagues tell us that many people intend to make a gift, but that it gets lost in the Christmas and New Year’s hustle and bustle. At any rate, this will be the last mention. We’re back to the usual version of the PrayerFlash! tomororow. Thanks for your love and prayers…and your generosity.
