Pray for the Board of Mission Services!
As many of the recipients of our weekly email know, Mission Services Association is celebrating 70 years of sharing the God stories in world missions. This is such a year of blessing for us. Every ministry belongs to God, and none are guaranteed a lengthy time of service. Mission Services has been supported and encouraged by countless individuals and congregations for each of the 70 years. We will cap this celebration as the Highlighted Mission at the 2016 International Conference On Missions in Lexington, Kentucky. Please stop by booth 216 and by the Kentucky Room (part of the Hyatt as it connects with the Lexington Center). The Kentucky Room will be open at specific times with opportunities to visit, peruse our library of HORIZONS magazines, check out the missions network online and more!
Please be in prayer for our Board of Directors as they travel to Knoxville this week. Our Board will be meeting on Friday September 9. While we will be celebrating 70 years of ministry, we will be looking forward seeking God’s guidance and direction for our ministry vision. Pray for safe travel, God’s wisdom, and our time of fellowship.
