The Brief Act of One Man
Created a 150+ Year International Legacy!
During the late afternoon hours of Monday (February 22), our friends at the Orchard Group released a statement of condolence to the family of Charles Faust who had recently passed away. Charles was a familiar name to most as the former President of Go Ye Chapel (now Orchard Group) in the New York City area, and a friend to many. I remember his plea to the student body at Johnson University (then Johnson Bible College) while I was a student to come north to plant a church.
I am certain that most who knew Brother Faust, or knew of his work at Go Ye Chapel, did not know the story of his family. During the early days of the formation of the missions network, we decided to include a definite space for special videos of God Stories. We named this part of the network, Ordinary People/Extraordinary Stories. Orchard Group graciously provided a video of the testimony of Charles Faust that is one of the most extraordinary stories I have heard (and I have heard MANY).
Everyone who reads this eNewsletter needs to watch this video! I know it is listed above, but I want to take this moment to call your attention to it. Take three minutes to watch. It is my prayer that this video will motivate us to invite someone to go with us when we gather with our Christian fellowship! You never know that the one invitation that might not seem to be important will change lives on several continents for the next 150 years! Watch it here http://bit.ly/The-Invitation-of-1-Man.
Praying for more to be His,
Reggie Hundley Executive Director Mission Services Association, Inc.
