Pray for Mission Services!
I know there are many of our supporters who have this ministry on their daily prayer list! Not long ago, we asked for people to join us each day at noon to prayer for our work of sharing the stories God is writing around the world through faithful missionaries and servants. We were blessed as we received many notes (handwritten, typed, and via email) of encouragement. Please continue to pray for the work!
The opportunities that come to us are many! We had a conversation recently at a ministry gathering asking us to consider adding a service. The request was heartfelt, and it was accompanied with, “This is an area of need where I (the individual asking) am willing to serve.” For the third year, I am teaching the Missiology class (the first class for missions majors as a part of their specialty) at Johnson University here in Knoxville. This is a great opportunity to inspire these young people as they prepare for a life of service. Pray for these young students (and their professor) this fall.
The list of new opportunities could go on! Pray for God to give us wisdom as to when we should say “yes” and to when we should say, “that is something others could do better.” Pray that we will never run ahead of our Lord’s leading. Pray for God to provide the finances needs whenever it is proper to say yes.
We are so very thankful that God has given us an opportunity to share His love, glory, holiness, and grace around the world. May He always be praised!
