In 1976 Adele McFarland wrote A Family Affair, the story of the early years of ministry of Mission Services and its founding family. The book is appropriately titled, because this has indeed been a family ministry. As Mrs. McFarland wrote in the Preface, God used this ministry to shape the lives of the McFarland family as much as he used their talents to begin the work! Her words tell of the challenges, struggles and exciting times of service and of everyone involved in seeing Mission Services through its formative years. We are happy to make this book available to all those interested in world missions at no cost.
