I know that we live in an age of sensationalism, sound bytes, short clips, superficial news coverage, and when people have many demands on their time … therefore … it is best to write brief, to the point newsletters. Not like this one. I understand it if you do not read the entire report.
I offer photos for those who want to just catch the highlights and gist of the report.
I highlight some text to catch the eye and idea.
The highlighted text is often linked to a photo.
I also know that some of you really like to read the details about lives being touched, especially the lives of children and young adults, so I usually provide them when reporting about the camps.
Anastasia’s camp report this time is less about individual campers and more about their impact on her. What I notice, too, is her maturing in dealing with difficulty people, at least difficult children.
Since Natalka is no longer employed by TMI, I did not ask her for a report, but we still consider her part of the TMI/CIU Center team when she is continuing part of her ministry. I read very good reports about her contribution to two French Language camps, one in Western Ukraine and one in the Caucuses of Russia.
After next month’s two-week teaching visit to Kiev and Lviv (Ukraine), you will get a report about the events. Most likely a report on mere activities with the human element in the background. I hope you will enjoy the human element in the foreground as you read about the children’s camps.
The entire TMI team and its associates that we assist in Ukraine and Crimea count their blessings that come from your faithful prayers and support.
Blessings from the Lord be upon you and flow through you,
Georges
