MORNING GLORY
CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

San Raymundo, Guatemala
9-20-2014
On September 6th, three Morning Glory teachers achieved a new certification/degree from the University campus in San Raymundo. This degree allows them to teach in Vocational/College Prep School. For some of them, this is another step in their education to obtain a degree equivalent to a Master’s Degree. Heyson Manzo, our Techincal Director (or Academic Dean) writes about the experience and what it means for his future:

11 years ago I started working at Morning Glory Christian Academy and I consider it a blessing for my life.  Arriving at this institution has also given me the opportunity to aspire to important things to improve my performance at work. Motivated by the desire to become more professional and improve my work at [Morning Glory], I began my studies in the Panamericana University of Guatemela.

Today I give thanks to God for allowing me to reach this goal in my life and for giving me wisdom to continue my education on the level of Lincenciature (Master’s Degree) in Education Administration.  [For] a great part of this success, I must also thank my Director, Lori de Nij. Her emotional, spiritual, and mental support has been a fundamental factor so that today, I achieve a victory in the university.

The success, aside from giving us happiness as well, commits us to continuing to improve as a person and as a professional. For this reason, today my promise with Morning Glory and our students is even greater; now that there is a lot to do to improve and transform the lives of the students.

Heyson Edmundo Manzo Bhor
Technical Director of Morning Glory Christian Academy
