2. Praise for Steve’s Safety
We are thankful that Steve and Sana are safe. Now we are praying that the insurance company will complete their part so Steve can look for another vehicle. Steve wrote:
“About two weeks ago, Sana and I were on our way to the freeway near our home and as I crossed the street, a company pick-up T-boned us smashing into the rear wheel, passenger’s side. He was going very fast and the impact was substantial. Our car had side airbags so no one was hurt or inured.
The driver of the pick-up was also uninjured but our car was undriveable. The impact was directly on the rear axle and bent the wheel under the frame. We had to call a tow-truck and waited for most of the morning. The insurance company has written off the car as ‘economically unviable’ and so will pay out the insured value.
As yet, they have not done so and we are now down to one car, which is very awkward because Rusty Draper, an elder from our Florida supporting church is here on a short term mission trip to work with the kids and the Cape Bible Seminary classes.” |
