Dear Friends and Supporters

WE THANK GOD FOR HIS GENEROUS BLESSINGS IN 2015 AND PRAY FOR HIS CONTINUED MERCY IN 2016.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN THE COMING YEAR.

NIGERIA: Annual Church Conference

The annual church conference held at Assiga New Town on November 13-15 was well attended. The theme was “Listen More, Talk Less and Calm Down” based on James 1:19-20. Four lessons were presented on Saturday to nine classes. That night the community was invited to join the conference for drama, musical concert and prayer. On the Lord’s Day, Sunday Obeten preached on Gossip Destroys Relationships using Proverbs 11:13.

IVORY COAST

Roujee Morris reports that TEE classes are being held in three centers with a total of thirty-three (33) students. Elections were held in October and all went peacefully. This was an answer to intensive prayers.

Grassroots Leadership Development

Just received a request from Brian Hauser to translate the Christian Marriage TEE course into the Jula language. The request was made “because questions and issues about marriage have been coming up a lot lately.” Brian and his wife Tabatha are working among the Jula in Burkina Faso. They began their mission work in Ivory Coast in leadership development among the Anyi people group. They used the TEE courses in French which is the language of education in Ivory Coast. They transitioned into church planting using the story telling method among the Djoula in Ivory Coast. From there they moved to Burkina Faso where they continue evangelizing with the story telling method.

TRIP TO GHANA

I will be traveling to Ghana in January again for two important meetings. The first meeting is to work with the committee to amend the new constitution and by-laws of the Restoration Christian Church in a way that protects the autonomy of the local congregations. The second meeting is a special meeting of the board of directors of the Christian Leadership Training Institute. We will meet with a lawyer to update our registration of the Institute with the government of Ghana. The board will also decide how to move forward with the work of the Institute now that we are without a director.

PRAISE AND PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Thank God for a successful conference of the churches in Nigeria.

2. Thank God for the TEE classes in Ivory Coast and the peaceful election.

3. Thank God for his provision for the Lord’s work in 2015.

4. Thank God for his love to us through his only son, Jesus Christ.

5. Ask God to bless the meeting to amend the constitution and by-laws.

6. Ask God to guide the board of the Christian Leadership Training Institute as they make decisions about the future of the Institute.

7. Ask God to bless Ivory Coast Christian Mission, the work of the Institute in western Africa and the training of leaders around the world using the Three-Step Method (TEE).
