Manchester Chinese Christian Church

Brandy Lee- Manchester, NH

It’s the beginning of a new year! Pray that God will move the heart of the congregation to love His Word, follow Him, and experience His presence.

  • Give thanks to God for a successful Chinese New Year program. About eight Chinese college students showed up who had not been with the church. Pray for opportunity to reach them.
  • Pray for our intern, Grace Lu, that she will be able to fulfill her goal in this internship and be used by God after her graduation from Lincoln Christian University.
  • Easter is coming. Pray that we will be able to make use of this season to glorify our Lord in his resurrection and be a good witness to our community.
  • Pray for our Resident Minister, Andrew Fross, as he continues to help equip our youth and adult church members to make disciples in New England.
  • Pray for reconciliation and peace in several families in our church as they have problems and struggles in marriage.

Oasis Christian Church (Liberian)
Christic Marblow- Providence, RI

  • Thank God for people who are stepping forward to serve in the Saturday morning tutoring program that we are using to reach children and their families for Christ. Pray that the number of children and mentors will continue to grow. (Still looking for additional computers.)
  • Thank God for Christic’s job that provides for his needs and allows him to be closer to the church community.
  • Pray that God continue to enhance our worship services to move the hearts of those attending.
  • Pray that those we are reaching out to in Providence will be responsive to God’s love and grace.

New Life Cambodian Christian Church

Rinn Sim- Lowell, MA

  • We’ve been praying with our team as they began reaching out to new people. We ask God, as Paul did, that “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe…”  Ephesians 1:17-19. Please join us in this prayer for our team.
  • Praise the Lord for all leaders who remain strong in our Lord Jesus.
  • Please pray for our vision to be fulfilled for each one to “reach one” in Lowell, MA.
  • Pray for Mr. Sary Oung and Mr. Vanna Meas who came to church 10 years ago, but who then gave in to life’s busy challenges and stopped coming to church. Praise God that they returned to visit this past Sunday. Mr. Meas clearly opened his heart to listen to the Gospel. Pray they will continue with us.
  • Please pray for Eda Ung who has established a new travel agency.  Pray for its success so that he can provide for his family and that the demands of the business will not keep him from God’s people. Our hope is that the profits can be reinvested to continue to help the Khmer people understand more about Jesus Christ.

New Hampshire Korean Christian Church

Eunho Moon & Kei Eun Chang- Bedford, NH

  • Join us in praying that many more people will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Pray that our church members will continually go out to work in the harvest fields of New England and our local communities. Pray for the congregation to generously share their faith and resources.
  • Pray for church members facing unemployment or struggling businesses. Pray for Hee Sang Yu and his family. He lost his job over 14 months ago and continues searching for one that will provide for his family.
  • Pray for pastor Kei Eun Chang as he begins a four month tour in Korea preaching & teaching at the Seoul Christian University. The future of the Restoration Movement in Korea may depend in large part upon Dr. Chang’s success in this ministry. Pray that God will provide the financial, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual resources that he will need to succeed in this calling. Also, pray for Young, his wife, as she remained in the Boston area to work.
  • Pray for Eunho Moon as he temporarily assumes the lead minister role for this church.
  • Pray for the congregation to generously share their faith and resources.
  • Pray for those members in our church who are experiencing troubles, hardships, and depression in their life. May God and His church show them love, encouragement, support, security, and peace.
  • Pray for more qualified, trained leadership to be established.
  • Dr. SB Lee and his wife have been leading our young adult Bible studies on week days and have been equipping these young people to be strong examples of Christ. Pray for the group to grow as we reach out to other young adults and students.

Hong Kong Christian Mission

Wing Wong- China

February is a slow month because of the Chinese New Year. Many traveled for miles to go home for the New Year celebration. Most students and teachers got a month off from school and many workers had at least two weeks of vacation. Now they are starting back to their work places. But some of our evangelists are still trying to find opportunities for sharing the Good News.

  • Beijing: Please pray for the children who are cancer patients. Many are getting weaker every day and are no longer able to come to the activity room for our programs. Please pray that they will accept Jesus into their lives before it is too late. Please pray for Wang Zi Rui, the mother of a one-year-old patient. She had heard the Gospel but failed to stay with the faith. May God strengthen her through this difficult time with her child and lead her to truly turn over her life to Christ!
  • Jiangxi: Since many people are very skeptical about giving their names and contact information, it makes it very difficult to follow up on the prospects we meet. Please pray that God will build trust in those people towards us so that we can follow up with them!  Although during our last visit the Christian workers were scolded for sharing the Gospel in a market place, please pray for wisdom, understanding, and boldness for our team members.
  • Sichuan: Please pray for the 12 children with single parents with whom we have been working.  All of these children lost one of their parents during an earth quake. Recently, Deng Zhibin’s father died because of illness. Chen Caiyong’s father died in a work related accident. Now both must live as orphans. Please pray for consolation and courage for them to move forward! Pray also that our workers will know how to help them!
  • Manchester: Both Grace Lu (Lincoln Christian University intern) and Hannah Kwan (a local university student) have been doing a wonderful job helping me to put the video programs together for Cross Space Networks for Christ. Please pray that more people in China will be touched by the Gospel messages through these programs on their computers and smart phones! Please pray for Hannah as she is considering being baptized into Christ!
