Sunday “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God” (Psalm 42:1). Pray that they will earnestly long for intimacy with God and that they will daily make their relationship with Him a priority.
Monday “As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master … so our eyes look to the Lord…” (Psalm 123:2). Pray that they will always look to God for direction and await His clear leading.
Tuesday “What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do” (Isaiah 46:11b). Pray that they will fully trust God’s faithfulness in keeping His promises.
Wednesday “All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another” (1 Peter 5:5b). Pray that their interactions with others will model Christ-like humility.
Thursday “Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58b). Pray that they will remain fully devoted to the work God has given them, unshaken by opposition or unsettling circumstances.
Friday “Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete…” (James 1:4). Pray that they will experience the maturity that comes from persevering in trust and obedience to God. Saturday “My grace is sufficient for you…” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Pray that they will always rest in the all-sufficient grace of Christ. |
