Sunday
We have developed the Vanuatu Institute for Scripture Translation and Application (VISTA), in which students translate Scripture during training modules, then share and teach it in their home villages. Pray that students from each of the four participating language groups will successfully complete the entire course.
Monday
Every VISTA module has been impacted by illness, transportation challenges, students’ responsibilities in their home communities, and deaths of close family members. Pray for protection for the translators and for our personnel. Pray that the remaining modules will proceed without these and other disruptions.
Tuesday
Portions of Scripture have been published in each language served by VISTA. Pray for transformed lives and a hunger for more as people hear God’s Word in their heart language.
Wednesday
Pray that churches and community leaders in each language group will support and encourage their translators.
Thursday
Pray that God will add critically needed personnel to our team in Vanuatu.
Friday
Our personnel are hosting their first team of interns this summer. Pray that these interns will serve in fruitful ways and catch the vision for serving Bibleless people long-term.
Saturday
Pray that the large and culturally diverse team we are asking God to build here will work together in God-honoring peace and unity. |
