Sunday
We have assisted with the translation and publication of the New Testament in a language spoken in this region, and mother-tongue translators are now working on portions of the Old Testament. Pray that these Scriptures will be widely read.
Monday
Translation is moving forward in two additional languages. Pray that God will provide the support and encouragement these translation teams need in order to finish the task well.
Tuesday
Many believers here struggle to understand God’s Word in a language they barely know. Pray that they will soon have Scripture in their own languages.
Wednesday
We continue to seek additional personnel to join our team. Pray that God will raise up mature, dedicated Christians who can assist with expanding our translation ministry.
Thursday
New strategies for translation are being tested here with excellent initial results. Pray for wisdom in utilizing these methods on behalf of those still waiting for God’s Word.
Friday
In many places in this region people undergo severe persecution for following Christ. Pray that God will equip and strengthen them. Pray that He will protect their lives so they can continue to spread the Gospel.
Saturday
The Jesus Film has been produced in the languages of several Bible-less people groups here. Pray that the message of Christ will come alive for them as they see it dramatized and hear it told in the language of their hearts. |
