Sunday “Grace and peace be yours in abundance” (1 Peter 1:2b). Pray that they will bountifully experience God’s grace and peace regardless of the circumstances they face.
Monday “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest” (Mark 6:31a). Pray that they will be deliberate in taking times of retreat away from the demands of their ministries.
Tuesday “In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them” (Proverbs 22:5). Pray that they will guard their hearts and minds, vigilantly avoiding Satan’s attempts to entrap them.
Wednesday “I will praise You forever for what You have done” (Psalm 52:9a). Pray that they will see the ways that God is working all around them and that they will respond in praise.
Thursday “So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God Who gives the growth” (1 Corinthians 3:7). Pray that they will work with their teammates harmoniously and without competition for God’s glory.
Friday “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13). Pray that they will extend grace and forgiveness to others. Saturday “You are the salt of the earth [and] the light of the world” (from Matthew 5:13-6). Pray that they will live as salt and light among the people God has called them to serve. |
