Sunday “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer” (Psalm 19:14). Pray that their every thought and word will please God.
Monday “I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of God!” (Deuteronomy 32:3). Pray that every aspect of their lives will praise and magnify God.
Tuesday “On earth peace to men on whom His favor rests” (Luke 2:14). Pray that they will experience anew His “shalom,” His perfect peace during this Christmas season.
Wednesday “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Pray that they will be instruments of His peace in the communities where they live and serve.
Thursday “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1). Pray that they will revel in God’s great love for them and be passionate about sharing it with others, especially during this Christmas season.
Friday “To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in
me” (Colossians 1:29). Pray that they will depend on Christ to empower and energize them in every aspect of their ministries. Saturday “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22a). Pray that they will release to Him every concern and that they will rest in His sustaining power. |
