Sunday
“Come near to God, and He will come near to you.” (James 4:8)
Pray that developing and nurturing an intimate relationship with God will be a daily priority.
Monday
“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other.” (James 5:16a)
Pray for healthy interpersonal relationships characterized by openness and spiritual integrity.
Tuesday
“… Stand firm … without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you.” (Philippians 1:27-28)
Pray that God will enable them to stand firm and without fear in every circumstance.
Wednesday
“The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything.” (Philippians 4:5b, 6a)
Pray that God’s nearness will be tangible and that His presence will dispel fear and anxiety.
Thursday
“Be careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15, 16)
Pray that they will seek and receive wisdom from God for responding to every opportunity that He places in their days.
Friday
“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.” (Colossians 4:3)
Pray for new opportunities for proclaiming Christ where He is not yet known.
Saturday
“Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.” (Psalm 143:8b)
Pray that they will seek wisdom and guidance from God in every decision they make. |
