Sunday “Find rest, O my soul, in God alone. My hope comes from Him.” (Psalm 62:5) Pray that they will find rest and hope through relying fully and only on God.
Monday “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.” (Romans 15:13a) Pray that they will live in hope and in trust-based joy and peace.
Tuesday “O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for You in a dry and weary land where there
is no water.” (Psalm 63:1) Pray that they will earnestly seek God, thirsting and longing always for His presence.
Wednesday “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5) Pray that they will follow the sacrificial example of Christ, who humbled Himself and sacrificially gave His life to bring others to His Father.
Thursday “On earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.” (Luke 2:14) Pray that they will experience anew His “shalom,” His perfect peace during this Christmas season.
Friday “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9) Pray that they will be instruments of peace in the communities where they live and serve. Saturday “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) Pray that they will shine the light of Christ into the dark places in the lives and cultures of those they serve. |
