Sunday “Be their shepherd, and carry them forever” (Psalm 28:9b). Pray that they will be encouraged by the Lord’s presence and sense His tender shepherd’s heart toward them.
Monday “I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips” (Psalm 34:1). Pray that their lives will overflow with gratitude to God even in the midst of challenging circumstances.
Tuesday “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him” (Romans 15:13a). Pray that they will live in hope and in trust-based joy and peace.
Wednesday “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). Pray that they will follow the sacrificial example of Christ, who humbled Himself and sacrificially gave His life to bring others to His Father.
Thursday “Do not repay anyone evil for evil” (Romans 12:17a). Pray that they will look to the Holy Spirit to fill and empower them when they face evil in any form. Pray for grace to respond in God-honoring ways.
Friday “Love one another” (John 13:34b). Pray that they will be known for the deep love they have for each other. Pray that unbelievers will be drawn to Christ as they see His love at work in the lives of His people. Saturday “… Entrust (this message) to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2). Pray that they will have a “pass it on” mentality that will multiply their impact. |
