Sunday “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do” (I Peter 1:15). Pray that our personnel will lead holy lives not only in God’s sight but also in the sight of their co-workers and those among whom they serve.
Monday “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). Pray that they will fully trust in the Lord rather than in their own wisdom.
Tuesday “O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You in a dry and weary land where there is no water” (Psalm 63:1). Pray that they will earnestly thirst and long for God’s presence.
Wednesday “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace” (Colossians 3:15a). Pray that they will allow Christ’s peace to rule their hearts and their interpersonal relationships.
Thursday “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress. I will not be shaken” (Psalm 62:6). Pray that confidence in God will sustain them through every challenging circumstance.
Friday “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2). Pray that they will be devoted to praying, watchful for God’s answers, and grateful for them. Saturday “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Pray that they will shine the light of Christ into the dark places in the lives and cultures of those they serve. |
