Sunday “Love one another deeply from the heart” (I Peter 1:22b). Pray that they will be characterized by sincere love.
Monday “Carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2a). Pray that they will model Christian commu-nity in their responses to needs within the body.
Tuesday “It is the Lord your God you must follow and… revere” (Deuteronomy 13:4a). Pray that they will follow God and God alone.
Wednesday “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105). Pray that they will look to Scripture for guidance in all that they teach and do.
Thursday “Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil” (I Thessalonians 5:21b, 22). Pray that they will hold tightly to what is good and avoid everything that is evil.
Friday “Accept one another…in order to bring praise to God” (Romans 15:7). Pray that they will be free of ethnic and social barriers that exist within their cultures. Saturday “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10c). Pray that they will persevere in the face of trials and persecution. |
