Celebrating the launch of Collective Church in LA and the Orlando Project
COLLECTIVE CHURCH LAUNCHES IN LOS ANGELES
“The church is not a place where but a people who.”
With these words, Casey Fritz and Lorenzo Smith charged the people of Collective Church to be a church where everyone uses their gifts and to see the gospel flourish in the 23 neighborhoods that make up the Westside of LA. 13 months of prayer meetings, core group development, and ground work recently culminated in the launch of Collective Church.
Imagine an area bursting with opportunity and growth, attractive to families of diverse backgrounds, and expected to triple in population over the next 10 years. Now is the time to establish a high impact church in an increasingly influential place! Greg Marksberry will lead the Orlando Project, with a proposed launch date of October 2016.
Students from Lincoln Christian University, Nebraska Christian College, and Ozark Christian College enjoy Times Square. They visited New York City as a part of ORCHARD INSTITUTE. Over a period of five days, the students attend lectures, visit church plants, and learn about city life. Through Orchard Institute, we invest in the next generation of church planters and urban ministry leaders.
