News Update from
New Iberian Mission Association and Morning Glory
Dear friends of Morning Glory and NIMA,
Lori is responding very well to the therapies, and her health is improving every day.
Dean and Tobi are loading up to head for Virginia and ICOM. We will be in the exhibit area with Casas por Cristo, and our old friend from S.E. Texas, Bobbie Granger, will be helping at our location. Follow the New Iberian Mission Association on Facebook for daily updates during the missions convention. With many college students there, we have a new brochure on being an intern in Guatemala to distribute.
We have the Winter 2015 Navagator mailed to the main address group that receives the printed material. Anyone else interested in the 64-page reader’s magazine for Morning Glory, e-mail Herb at herb@missionoffaith.org for a copy.
The millennial kids and our faith-promise program has raised seven months of the expense of the in-Guatemala City treatment for Lori; it is in the bank. That is good news; now here is where I need some help. We are running $8,000.00 behind in our October’s budget for Morning Glory, the Chain of Pearl Christian churches, and office operation. Some of my heavy hitters bailed me out in August and again I need some help this week–the first is right around the corner. I take paying our teachers and workers as a very serious obligation. If you can help by either check or PayPal I would sure be thankful.
By the way, The Navigator magazine is on the Mission of Faith web site, NIMA’s historic and archive site. Read the e-copy at missionoffaith.org.
God bless you…
Love// Herb
