| We are so excited to share some news with you this month! We have officially partnered with Team Expansion. They are a mission organization based out of Louisville, KY. They have been in existence for 40 years and their heart is to reach the unreached. We have gotten to see a small part of their heart and mindset and we have been impacted by their passion in serving the Lord. Ross has officially been accepted as a recruit to work in their stateside offices, here in Louisville.
Ross will be working in the financial department with Team Expansion as a Financial Associate at International Services (this is their stateside office). We are very excited about this opportunity and if you know Ross, this will be a great fit for him. He has worked in a bank in the past and has done a lot of work with our finances for the mission field. We are really excited that the Lord will be allowing us to serve those on the mission field, especially in a way that Ross is gifted!
Since our arrival in Louisville, the Lord’s hand has been evident and He has shown us clearly that this is where He wants us. We have been so blessed, encouraged, and thankful for how He is working with us and for us. It turns out the Lord has been answering not only our prayers, but prayers at the Team Expansion offices as well.
The Lord never owes us anything and, as we see with Job, there may be times where we do not get to see what the Lord is doing. Ross and I feel so humbled that the Lord allowed us to see what He has been doing this past year and we will always be grateful for how He allowed us to see part of the picture. We want to give Him all the praise in this next chapter for it is not anything we could have done ourselves. |
