The following was written by one of the first recipients of our new partial denture module that we debuted in Uganda last month. Three national believers were trained to make and fit partial dentures. During the five day training, over a dozen people were fitted with new teeth. All glory to God! Here is just one of the many testimonies…
I am Sarah from Kampala, Uganda. Two days before my wedding, two of my teeth broke. This reduced my happiness by 70 percent. During our reception, one of my family members told me not to laugh so much because of the holes in my smile. Many friends also told me not to smile so wide.
For six years I prayed for Jesus to fix my teeth. As the mother of four children, I could not pay their school fees and my dental expenses. I turned to Jesus as my last doctor.
Then mPower Approach came to my church. My beautiful smile has been restored! I cannot fail to serve God where my smile is much more needed, like being a vibrant usher welcoming visitors.
