A Financial News Blast From CFO, Herb Pinney
I have really good news!
Queno and Lori have gotten to me the cost estimate on the new office building that is to be built on the shaded patio area near the financial/record-keeping office. Since this January adding of the new diversity school we have had to move two offices into Lori’s office to make room for classes. This crowded Lori and had her in private conferences in a public place, or displacing two busy workers. Typically of Lori and Queno they left the labor cost for Queno and Chano off the estimate and they figured no incidentals and the furniture, either new or refurbished for the offices as well as labor to move and refurbish offices.
I have added all the costs so budget money is not used, and the cost of the new office building is $7,000.00 turn key. We have a benefactor that has offered to match the money given for the new building, dollar for dollar. With this offer your gift of $100.00 becomes a gift to the building fund of $200.00. So, we need from our supporters $3,500.00 to get started. It is our goal to have the building under construction by March 10th of this year and include the money with the mid-March budget wire.
Dean has been working with me in fund raising; he works with special project gifts, and I work with the monthly budget necessities. This is a doable special project that could be handled at once with a one time gift, and constructions could begin in February.
