We are asking for special prayer for our director Lori Nij. Her lymphedema has become very uncomfortable and has greatly limited her mobility recently. On June 15th she was admitted into the hospital to be treated by some of the best experts in lymphedema in the country. Her first reports are good and the doctors think they will be able to imporve Lori’s quality of life, including mobility. She will stay in the hospital for about two weeks for therapy and treatment.
Please be praying that God will grant Lori strength, patience, peace, and healing. Pray for the doctors involved. Pray for Lori’s family as they find the best way to support Lori. Pray that the school and Casas por Cristo groups will continue unhindered while Lori recuperates.
