Prayers! Pray for our students as they continue their education. Pray that Lori will continue in good health. Pray that God will continue to surpass our expectations for Morning Glory.
Praises!  We thank God for 4 straight months of provision.  We have met budget, (and sometimes more) for 2015.  Praise God for the volunteers that have come and have committed to come this year.
Even amongst all the events and activities, classes are still going strong. We are well into our 2nd nine weeks!

Hello fellow Morning Glory supporters and workers in God’s Kingdom. I hope this letter finds you doing well and just as excited about the things going on at Morning Glory as we are! As many of you know, Mrs. Lori is the backbone to the educational philosophy that exists and is implemented daily at Morning Glory Christian Academy. She spends countless hours in her office and at home teaching and showing every child she can squeeze in about God and His love for them. She teaches them how to see God in everything. Her philosophies of incorporating Christ into every subject, not just Bible class, are what makes Morning Glory a truly Christian school. Over the past few years Lori has been having trouble with her legs. Don’t be fooled, her passion for her work motivates her to walk where she needs to go so that her work is not hindered! The issue is that it is hard and extremely painful to run around such a large campus all day long and maintain the level of health needed to do such. Mrs. Lori would literally work herself sick if she tried to do it!

This brings me to the point of this letter. It is time we put Mrs. Lori back in the classroom! We have many new teachers and need to get them caught up to speed on what Morning Glory is all about. We also have many new children we must impact with the Gospel of Christ. What better way to do this than to have Mrs. Lori herself back in the classroom throughout the day leading by example and meeting the children face to face in smaller classes of varied subjects? How better to train a teacher then to go into their class and show them how to teach by teaching with them?

There is no better way than to equip the best to train the best! What we are proposing and have already begun fundraising for is the purchase and transport of a power chair designed for a rugged campus such as ours to get Mrs. Lori back into the classroom doing what she is in Guatemala to do: TEACH! These chairs tend to be expensive, more so because we need one that can handle the rugged terrain in Guatemala! We are praying for God to provide the funds to purchase an off road power chair that will accomplish our goal of putting Mrs. Lori back to doing what she does best: teaching children about Jesus! We are asking for $7,000 to fund the chair, transport, and extra parts. If God is leading you to give, please click on the red box below or contact Herb (information to the left) to send a check. We hope you will join us in prayer for God to provide such a chair for Mrs. Lori.  Thank you all for your continued prayer and support of Morning Glory endeavors.
