Ken Henderson’s brother Art Henderson passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He die d from a severe, and quick form of dementia. He was 72, and a wonderful man of God, with a wonderful family following in the Lord also.
Art was a long-time friend of our ministry, serving as brother Ken’s Forwarding Agent during his early years of traveling ministry.
He also was part of Teen Mission, USA‘s very first board of directors in 1970.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Visitation will be from 10 am – 12 pm with funeral service at 12 pm on Friday, October 10th at Christ’s Church @ Mason (Mason, OH).
Weekend Mission Trips in Eastern KY
This fall, we have had several folks coming to Eastern KY for 1-3 days to do a weekend mission trip close to home. Larry Mullholand has organized 2 of these teams – one over Labor Day weekend and another on Saturday, October 4th. About the October 4th trip, Larry said…
“The one day mission trip to the Appalachian area was a complete success. An estimated 18 loads of fire wood was distributed and the worship/praise and pizza party at the Woodsbend Detention Center was awesome with 2 boys desiring to be baptized. God is good!

Mission Team in Haiti – October 04-13
We have a team of 10 (pictured below) in Dufailly, Haiti, working with our Haiti Project Director
Yvrose Johnson. They left on Saturday, October 04 and will return on Monday, October 13.

Still Time to Sign Up for Harvest for Haiti
Since 2010, Mission Journeys has sponsored an annual fall event called “Harvest For Haiti,” using volunteers to pack meals for school children in Haiti. This year’s event will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Fox Creek Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, KY. Learn more about the event at http://www.harvest4haiti.org/.
