One Tribe
In light of the turmoil in South Sudan, we are reminded of David’s words in Psalm 42:11, “My soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.” God is faithful and will complete the work He started in South Sudan. We are privileged to be a part of God’s plan in the new country of South Sudan, and we praise God for His provision in this time of unrest and uncertainty.
Let us be reminded from 2 Peter 3:15 that our Lord’s patience means salvation. Many in South Sudan worship the River Nile, and the trees and stars, yet, they have not heard about the Creator of the River Nile the trees and stars. We have much work to do.
South Sudan need new birth …. As one tribe…. The Tribe of Jesus Christ! Not a Church built with brick and mortar but a Church without walls, a Church with a one heart harmony to Worship the Father in the name of the Son Jesus Christ.
We will be about our Fathers business ,sowing peace and the eternal message of victory over death. We ask specifically for :
Prayers of safety for our South Sudanese colleagues that are in country.
Pray for peace and unity in South Sudan .
Pray for reconciliation among tribes, and government leaders.
Pray for the church to be one in harmony in the name of Jesus Christ .
Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Amen
