This past week we attended the services of St Francis United Methodist Church in Cary NC. Pastor Leonard Foley presented a most excellent message about the morning of the resurrection like none other I had heard. One of the songs we sang was penned by Charles Wesley in 1739 “Christ the Lord is Risen Today”. There are 6 stanzas, Stanzas 1-3 illuminate what God had accomplished during the resurrection and 5 & 6 speak of our praise because of the victory. The fourth stanza is different because……..
