Plans for South Sudan’s 5th “ Independence Day” celebration ( this upcoming July 9th) will not be as celebratory as we have hoped.

No military parade or other events to take place as war ravages economy and inflation hits almost 300 percent amid continue conflict at what we hoped would be the end of civil war of this very young nation.

While our school nears completion and over 700 children anticipate entry into their new classrooms, We have a few outstanding matters to address 1) School benches 2) Famine Relief and 3) anticipation of a Cholera outbreak.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that the economy is in ruins with inflation at almost 300 percent and the currency slumping by 90 percent this year.

Prayer request :

Pray that we can continue to show Mercy during a continued time of Crisis.

Pray for the evangelists to have strong communication and logistics during this summer.

Pray that we can minister to those that have seen the worst of humanity in an effective way.

Pray we can express the love of God in a way that gives hope and healing.
