WAVE – This month, we have had unconfirmed North Sudan bombings in South Sudan ( Western Bahr EL Gazel State). In other unconfirmed but reliable ground reports we are receiving chatter of South Sudan and UN tensions rising. Pray for our Lord to provide protection to our men and women of peace and our colleagues in South Sudan that are working in translation and among other Non Governmental Offices and water boring rigs.
DARFUR – The Sudanese government asked peacekeeping force in Darfur to shut down its human rights office and is increasing pressure on the mission’s work in the conflict-torn region. Last week, Sudan government asked the mission to prepare its plans to leave Darfur, This year more than 300,000 people fleeing their homes because of violence. More than 200 women were raped by government forces in Darfur. Pray for open doors during a very hostile season.
