Last week we requested prayer for peace during peace talks. The international communities surrounding South Sudan are fed up with the Republic of South Sudan’s inability to stabilize their own country.
Many in South Sudan are starving and sick with disease that the civil war has created, oil revenues continue and humanitarian organizations are growing frustrated.
President Salva Kirr and his government rejected the peace deal, and will now present their own.
Our operations continue to mitigate CHOLERA and will soon address the starving, like we had this past spring. In a few weeks Sandie and Tom will personally undergird our fellow Christians in South Sudan and collect reports on the work.
• Pray that the Leadership of South Sudan to have Godly wisdom and that our Father’s will be done.
• Pray that peace may pour into the nation.
• Pray that our efforts to advance the kingdom will be unhindered by the war and that we may have safe passage to address the needs of our fellow Christians.
• Pray that we have the resources in place to re-equip our “teams” and empower the pipeline of Mercy.
