Mercy shown at the right hour!
There were many happy faces as MERCY PARTNERS distributed food under the intense situation of hundreds dead in our village. It is estimated that 80,000 are displaced, 30,000 in just the month of July as we began the feeding program. After the dust cleared I.D.E.S. (International Disaster Emergency Services) assisted us with a partial grant. This was used to augment our feeding program. Many heard the word of God and just as importantly saw the love of Jesus displayed by the Church of Gudele. Pictured above,women that worked for hours to rations out food to prevent riots our food needed to be doled out in a series of phases . We estimate that we feed 3,000.
Praise God for the 3000 feed! Praise God for the love of Jesus that was displayed by the church! Praise God for answered prayers for strength and health of Peter during this time!
