LIA January News & Events
Greetings Mission,
We pray your holidays were full of blessed time with loved ones and the opportunity to reflect on how great our Father truly is. As we journey into another year, we are excited about all that God has in store for this ministry.
In the coming weeks, we invite you to draw closer to LIA in any of the following ways:
Happy New Year! We look forward to walking alongside you in this Kingdom work this year.
Blessings, -The LIA Team
Attend: Global Impact Celebration
Next month, LIA founder, Dr. Florence Muindi, and partnerships director, Tom Kemner, are attending the Global Impact Celebration in Madison, Alabama February 19-22.
If you plan to attend, be sure to attend Dr. Muindi’s sessions at the Prayer and Missions Conference at Asbury United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 22.
Pray: For South Sudan
On Saturday, February 1 at 10 a.m. (eastern), we are hosting a virtual meeting to dedicate time to pray for the people of South Sudan, the world’s newest country, as it finds itself in themidst of fighting, instability and political unrest. Dr. Muindi will lead us in this time. Please join us as we pray for these vulnerable people.
Thanks to your support this past Christmas, nearly $70,000 has been raised to equip the church and empower the most vulnerable, children. We are incredibly grateful for all who have come alongside us to help meet those needs.
If you’d like to help us fully meet the need, it’s not too late. Consider giving a gift to Transform. Together. this year.
Earlier this month, LIA relocated it’s USA headquarters to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We now call 1907 Ascension Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006 home. This strategic decision enables us to have greater access to our partners across the country and preserve ministry resources. We look forward to sharing more in the future. Stay tuned for details on our new mailing address and donation address.
And if you’re ever in the area, we invite you to stop by and say howdy.
