As I return from an LIA Ethiopia board meeting in Addis Ababa, I am so very encouraged by what God is doing there and to see where that country office is heading. Addis holds a special place in my heart, as it is where Life in Abundance was founded almost 20 years ago. This past weekend I had the privilege to reflect with the Ethiopia team about how far LIA has come, participate in wonderful fellowship, help to strengthen the governance team, and give thanks to God for all that He has done.
I am truly excited about where LIA Ethiopia is headed and what the Lord has planned for the program office and country as a whole. Please join me in praying for the board and general assembly of our Ethiopian office. Ask that our Father would guide them and give them clarity as they continue to make decisions for the program office and its future direction, strengthening their faith throughout the process. Pray that the program staff would feel empowered and be equipped by the Holy Spirit to carry out the important work that the Lord ordains for them.
Kindly join me in thanking God for his faithfulness to LIA over the years. It is amazing to think that almost two decades ago we were operating out of a single, small office, and today we are present in eight African countries and have even expanded across the Atlantic. None of this would have ever been possible without the hand of God and we pause to praise him for all he has done and planned for us. Give praise for the strong LIA leadership that is in place over and in Ethiopia. Without their expertise and drive to carry out God’s Will, our task would be significantly more difficult, and we are grateful for all that they have given to the ministry.
LIA has truly been enriched in every way, and we hope to be faithfully generous in every way that points back to the Lord.
