L.I.F.E. - Love Is For Eternity
Vision + prayer =
new school in Grand Goave, Haiti

Of course a lot of other items were included, besides vision and prayer, including faith, patience, persistence and sacrifice, to name a few. And all of these had to fit within God’s perfect plan and timing. All of this resulted with 2 completed 40-student classrooms filled with excited 7th graders eagerly pursuing their education! (see photos above and below)  We plan to add 1 class each year until all high school classes are included. This has been a great project and funding has gone very well.

However, we’re not finished yet!

Over $70,000 of the needed $90,000 has already been received and construction continues. Only 1 more $3,000 “block course” donation is needed. Will you provide it? Additionally, $15,432 is needed to see this great project completed without a slowdown or stoppage.

Can you or your church help?
Connect with Bob@Lifeline.org to help provide for these students’ future!

Note that an additional commitment has already been made to fully fund a Digital Library within our school, even including student computer pads. God is good! Pray for safety and success as this project is completed. Also, please pray for our students, teachers and our Education Task Force.

Praises
Honduras
  • Gretchen and the women’s work team made it safely to Honduras to distribute sponsor gifts to the children and minister to the women in our church communities! Please keep these ladies and their ministry in your prayers.

  • The students at Red Sands Christian School need your help!  New research materials and current non-fiction & fiction titles are desperately needed for the school library to help satisfy our students’ budding curiosity!  Can you help with their fundraiser?  Learn more or contact Brian@Lifeline.org.

United States
  • Thank you to all the participants at Connect Christian Church (Concord, NC) who packed 570,240 meals for hungry kids in Haiti!  You will bring smiles and full bellies to these precious children when the food is delivered in Haiti.  Check out the article and pictures of the event in The Charlotte Observer.
Don’t forget to register!
We are excited to share that there’s been a wonderful response to the Israel trip!  Plans are coming along and Bob & Gretchen, Lifeline’s Founders, are looking forward to sharing this unforgettable experience with you.

Prayer requests
  • Pray for Lifeline’s Board of Directors as they lead Lifeline’s leadership transition, and for our Founders, Bob and Gretchen DeVoe, as they transition into new roles within the ministry.
  • We still need your assistance to fund a grove of fruit trees at the new Grand Goave Children’s Home, which will provide fresh fruit for the children.  Some of the banana trees have already been planted.  (see photo below)  The project cost is $1800.  Contact Bob@Lifeline.org if you can help.

Searching for scholarship options in Panama
Christopher Rodriguez is the son of Jose and Rosa, our ministry leaders in El Salvador. He is studying to be a medical doctor in Panama and needs help paying his tuition.

Do you have any knowledge of scholarship or other financial assistance that may be available for him? Maybe you or your church could help? Contact Bob@Lifeline.org for more information or if you know of available resources.

Christopher is a top student and is also heavily involved in leadership of our church work in Panama. Keep this in your prayers.
