Defensive Training Class
March was a very busy month for Kore! Tom Kinman led our first ever defensive training class. These classes are for our security staff as well as others in the community.  We were thrilled to have the security from Respire Haiti take classes with us!
Tom will continue to teach these classes on a regular basis.  He also teaches these classes in the U.S.!

Solar Light Project

Kore launched the Solar Light Project! KORE has found $50 solar lights sold in Haiti that can be easily installed in our farmers’ chicken coops. This is a cost-effective, eco-friendly and locally sourced solution that will provide the lighting needed for chickens to feed on their demanding schedule. Not only will the chickens have the adequate lighting they need for proper development, our farmers will benefit from having healthy, fat chickens to sell at the end of each cycle.
We still have a ways to go!  Please clicke here to donate: SOLAR LIGHT PROJECT.

Hatching Hope
Hendersonville First United Methodist Church launched Kore’s first #HatchingHope program for 2017! Hatching Hope is a campaign to be used in churches to help children understand the importance of ending poverty through social, economical & spiritual development.  Children raise money in egg cartons for Kore’s 6.25 project.  If you or your church is interested in implementing this campaign, you can download information and tools here. HATCHING HOPE
