Good Tuesday afternoon! It has been an amazing year so far for Mission Services & the missions network!
Thus far in June, with almost one week remaining in the month, individuals from 104 different nations have viewed, listened to or read information about Christian missions via the missions network. When I shared this news yesterday via Facebook, one dear friend wrote, “Are you tracking me? Well I have nothing to hide. Particularly my love for missions!” This was particularly funny given all the media attention to email, telephone and Internet tracking by various governments. No, we are not tracking, but we are excited to know that God is using this network to connect with people literally around the world!
Here is what we DO know. Individuals are watching a LOT of video reports from missionaries and ministries. The information in the Knowledge Base is reaching far more than we ever dreamed and benefiting ministries in ways we did not envision. The current newsletter/eNews section of the network is connecting ministries with potential and new supporters!
God is allowing Mission Services the privilege of Educating people about world missions and providing educational material for people working in missions,Encouraging those involved in missions by sharing their needs & victories with others who care for them and pray for them, Exciting people about the work that God is doing around the world, and Enlisting people to join the task of the Great Commission. We thank all of our supporting congregations & individuals for giving us the opportunity to serve God’s kingdom in this special way. When Harrold & Adele McFarland began the work of MSA, it was a pioneer effort in communication, and this is still the case!
