July 11 2014 Ministry Report and Prayer Points from the Morelands

Dear prayer partners,

Here are a couple of quick praise reports:

1.  Last Sunday, July 6, 2014, we baptized Sharon Trejos, a young lady who has been attending for a couple years now.

2.  We’ve been praying for my (Paul’s) mom’s return to the U.S. after over 42 years on the mission field.  She received the money for the sale of her house and signed the documents this week!!!  She will be flying to Belo Horizonte to spend a couple of weeks with my sister, Karen, before heading to the U.S. on August 6.  The next few weeks will be quite hectic for her and filled with a lot of emotion as she leaves the land where she has spent most of her life.  Please continue to pray for her and for our family as we find ways to help her adjust to living in the U.S. after all these years.  Making the change back is not really making the change back.  The U.S. is a far different country from the one she left with her husband and children in early October, 1971.  I do not know any other details of her plans at this time, although I believe she plans to locate in the SW MO area near my brothers in the Joplin/Webb City area.
