Please pray for the country of Djibouti
Dear Mission, Today is a public holiday for many of the LIA countries, especially those who have a Muslim majority. It is the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting by those affiliated with Islam. They are celebrating Eid al-Fitr. As such – it could not be a better time for us to join the LIA Family – to pray for our Country Director and our brothers and sisters in Djibouti.
“I praise the Lord for the unexplainable peace he has put in my heart and for the good health, he has given to my family regardless of all the challenges faced. I am certain of that the power my family and I have is out of the prayers that have covered us from all of you. I praise the Lord God who controls times and circumstances. Thank you all—may the Lord God bless you for all your support.” — Djibouti Country Director
Join us in praying for:
- The court case for our Djibouti Country Director has been postponed to October 5th. God is protecting the work here. Let us pray that the truth will take over and the judge will be able to pronounce the right verdict.
- Our Djibouti Country Director is planning to come to Nairobi together with his family in the near future. Pray that the government will allow him to exit the country for a vacation before the next hearing. Once again, thank you, for your prayer support.
- Pray for a smooth and successful project targeting the 60 Muslim background believers. Although there was an initial setback, we want to redeem the time and gain much fruit from this work, beyond all expectations. Pray for God’s wisdom, guidance and favor at all levels. Pray that God protects this work and all who are involved.
Thank you for joining the LIA family in praying for Djibouti today.
In Christ, Florence
