Thank you for your continuing prayers. The Operation Opportunity reading corners and tutoring are up and running in several places, please keep these efforts in your prayers. Pray for the team members as they contact the program and seek opportunities to exalt our Lord and point people toward HIM.

We look forward to being in the US later this month for some routine medical checks; a meeting of our Java Directors; homecoming and a revival in Whitesburg, GA; visiting during Savannah Christian’s Faith Promise; and some time with stateside family. Over the past several years we have frequently asked you to pray for a strong Muslim area we call “Rabbit County”. Our partners there have not been able to return as planned because of personal concerns, especially now about the health of a 92-year grandfather who would likely qualify for hospice if in the US. Even though they have been out of the area for 10 months now, a husband and wife team who are both our former students at the Java Bible college without support or even encouragement from us relocated to this area a couple of years ago and have over the past few months reported a series of trips to the river for “burials into Christ.” Isn’t it great that God is not dependent upon our plans?!
For some time we have had a personal interest in and conversations with an evangelist here about strategy to reach an isolated tribe on the larger island to the North of us. They and others have recently suffered much loss because of a wildfire. In partnership with our local foundation, IDES in Indiana, and the field worker mentioned, much needed aid is being distributed since this past weekend. Pray for an entry point for the Good News.
