Greetings from a finally dryer, but still hot, Ambon!

If you faithfully follow these updates, you are aware that we arrived at plan for future action through a rather circuitous route caused by my itchy typing fingers and brain freeze.   But, we do have a plan which we are diligently pursuing.

We feel we can bless the community and build bridges for the gospel through the bi-lingual pre-school and kindegarten program.  We have done some necessary work on the building. Bethany has devised a scheme where we can double the population in the present facility.  Unfortunatley our ability to reach into the non-Christian community will still be hampered temporarily.  This gives more time to have a stronger, better prepared program when God opens that door.

The program of the school is blessed because of the expertise Kathy Hudson shared over four weeks of consulting and modeling effective instruction.   We pray she will come back again soon. [And bring Scott who was a blessing to the University community.]

We ask that you pray for maximum enrollment and for a teaching staff totally dedicated to Christian professionalism
glorifying our Lord.

We have invited Ibu Yanti, a former student, who now lives in Papua to join the staff next year.   Please pray for her, for her husband Win, and for their two children as they decide about our invitation to join ministry in Ambon.  Win has several marketable skills that could help us train jobless people, preparing them for the marketplace.

Our search for a business partner for the English classes has not yet borne fruit.    Ask for this to materialize in the Lord’s timing and in the way He sees best.

We still plan to begin the Bi-lingual international Christian Fellowship around August in rented facilities. Please pray for all the details to come together to make this possible.

Janes and Bethany will bring their three natural born daughters to the states July 1-21.

March 24th we look forward to welcoming an elder from the Bethany Christian Church of Carrollton, GA, Jack Turner, to Ambon.  Together we will devote a week to concentrated prayer for the “Kingdom to Come” in fullness in Ambon.

Please ask the Lord to direct, arrange, and bless these activities in the way that will best glorify Him.

Until all Clearly Hear,

Dennis & Lynn signature
