Hey to all y’all who pray for us and for the work here.
Saturday, June 11th, was graduation day for the FAST START pre K and Kindergarten. It was a busy, fun time. Teachers are already busily preparing for the next school year which begins on July 20th.
We thank God for His blessing on this effort. Bethany (our daughter and founder – principal of Fast Start) reviewed the five year plan prepared for the Department of Education in preparation for her message to parents and friends at graduation. We have already met or exceeded several elements of the plan!
2013-14 was the initial term for Fast Start. There were about 15 pre-K and k-4 students; 2014-15 saw that double; 2015-16 doubled again to 60. 2016-17 already has confirmed registrations for 103 students. Some pre-K students are likely to come in later. Only multiple daily sessions allow our current facilities can accommodate these. We cannot continue the growth pattern without a larger facility.
. .
That is what the Sizemore Center will provide. The land has been purchased. We are in the process of paying off the friendly loan (no interest; no pressure) and planning for site devlopment. We will share the development plan just as soon as we can.
Please continue to pray with us for the successful completion of this project. Any funds earmarked “Sizemore Center” or “Ambon Ministry Center”, made payable to Java Evangelism, 105 Westbrook Road, Carrollton, GA 30116, will be used 100% for this project.
We honor the missions heart of Professor and Mrs. Denver Sizemore by continuing their commitment to serve the least served in the name of Jesus and with his love.
Thank you for praying for our friends we mentioned in the last update. Al has passed some small kidney stones, and is treating the others with traditional Chinese herbal medicines. Linda is concerned that her baby is not yet in proper position for birth. Reni suffered a miscarriage and was hospitalized with an infection. She and Narto are responding well, both emotionally and physically.
Thank you for praying.
Until all Clearly Hear,
