Java Evangelism – July 8 2016 – 5 more and enrollment will have doubled for 3rd year in a row!

A couple of months ago, Dennis  proclaimed, “It is impossible for the enrollment of the Fast Start Pre-K and Kindergarten to double again this year as it has for he last two.”  He didn’t think we could squeeze that many into our current facilities. 

Word of the quality program offered continued to spread, and a stream of parents continued to sign up their kids.   At last count 115 were enrolled.   With some creative scheduling, and stretching our rented facilities to the max, Bethany and staff have plans to handle up 120 (double 2015-16).  We may make that number by the time school starts on July 18th.

Please pray for the children, their families, and all the staff.  May we all move closer to Jesus during this school year.

As adjustments to the school building have been undertaken, Dennis has also led a crew in renovating a house down the street (across from the recently purchased property) to be used as a reading room, boarding house, and a venue for income generating English classes.   Please pray for the right local partners to help develop the English course.  Pray also for team member, Welly, as she moves in to oversee the other projects.   Guests coming from Savannah will be the first the make use of the building.  We hope it will be reasonably functional by then.

When these program are fully operational, we will we near the goal of serving 250 people per year which we are planning for in the Sizemore Center project.

Pray with us for 250 donors to give/raise $2000 each to complete this project.

Above all pray, that these things which keep us busy will bear Eternal Fruit!

Thank you for praying for Al and Linda.    Cantik was born this week.   Both mother and daughter are doing well.  Dad and big brother, Anugerah, are quite proud.    Reni who lost her unborn child recently had a few weeks of health challenges, but is doing well emotionally and physically now.   Ask God to continue to bless her.

Rejoice over much enthusiasm in the Batu Merah and Rumah Tiga Reading Rooms and Tutorials.   Michael. Speedy and Narto are encouraged by recent events.

There has been some progress on the visas for Speedy and family.  Please continue to pray that their work permits will be granted soon.
