Now Serving Eastern Indonesia where the Sizemore Center is being built in Ambon

As members of our team go out to serve people and to build bridges for the gospel, we some times have to deal with struggles, most often within our hearts.   An example of this was shared in our team prayer meeting this week.

Michael is working in the village of Rumah Tiga and is seeking to develop contacts in another village nearby, Wae Heru.     As he travels between these ministry points, he must pass through Batu Koeneng, a Muslim area.  Recently two relatives there became embroiled in an argument over land.  One cut off the head of the other.   As Michael traveled through he was haunted by the thought, “If they will do this to one another over a small plot of  land, what might they do to someone bringing an unwelcome message?”   He realized that these were not his thoughts alone but were fears the Evil One was trying to plant in his heart to interfere with his obedience.   Fortunately he was strengthened by the knowledge of the Lord’s presence.   Jesus promises us that He will be with us as we go with the Gospel.   Experience teaches that spirits from Hell are also present.

Thank you for prayers for our sensitivity to God’s enabling presence and strength.

Thank you for praying for Riry.  She is healthy, but still grappling with the full implications of giving her heart and llife to Jesus.

Fast Start K-4 and K-5 are full for next year, with some on a waiting list.   The pre-K can still accept 15.  If, as we suspect, that class fills up as well,  We will have 135 students.  This is the limit for the current rented facilities.   Further expansion will be possible only with the completion of the Sizemore Center.

Until all Clearly Hear,
