There is a people group numbering about 12,000 with a unique language and culture living about one and one-half hours from here in two villages. They are all Muslims and until recently no one was working regularly to introduce Jesus to them. Our friend and co-worker, Michael, after running into numerous obstacles in Village Five moved his efforts in witnessing to SKT.
As a means of blessing the community, Michael is introducing organic vegetable farming in SKT. They will be growing various greens for the local market. It should be a financial blessing for them, but we are praying that it will have an eternal impact.
Praise God, one of the recently Unengaged Ureached People Groups of Indonesia is now ENGAGED. Pray for a great and growing harvest of greens and SOULS. In SKT there are also Muslims who have moved here from Beeland and other places in Indonesia.
Please continue to pray for “Esther” the restaurant owner we wrote about recently. She has been given literature that will help her understand more clearly the claims of Jesus on her life.
A worker who bore much fruit in Beeland is here with us, seeking to determine if God has a place for him in reaching the Muslims (especially Bees) in our city and province. The gospel is being share boldly. Please pray for a harvest and for God’s direction for our friend.
