CALLING ALL CHURCH LEADERS, MISSIONARIES, PASTORS; ALL DISCIPLES.

I invite and encourage  you to take this class.  Let me share comments of two students who have just completed ONE week of the course.
Comment of a vibrant, zealous young lady active in ministry:
Evangelism has always been intimidating and somewhat frightening to me. On top of that, most evangelism tactics have always seemed, to me, to be unrealistic, ineffective, wouldn’t have long term results, and didn’t make sense. This course has introduced me for the first time to a tactic that makes complete sense to me and has gotten me excited to put it into practice. Now that I have an outline that makes sense, that I can realistically see having long term results, I see it as a way around the intimidation and fear.

Comments of a leader in a large church:
“Evangelism when considered from the perspective of these Lessons, offers us the tool we can successfully use because of the orderly, logical steps involved, plus the beauty of all the supporting scripture verses…….

The information is laid out with all the necessary supportive scriptures….It walks us through steps that allow us to interact with the people we are presenting to…. This gives us an opportunity to share  the steps to restore a relationship/covenant…The lessons also allows us the opportunity to check where the person is in the process of accepting Christ in their life.

I love the fact that we are accepted through Christ sacrifice on the cross that we do not have to work for acceptance, that sin is forgiven and we are saved by Grace. The examples that you use, the hitting the bow and arrow target, the line example (saved/lost) are all things we go through as we grow in Christ.  The pencil example in continuously asking God for forgiveness.  With God on our side who and what can ever be against us.

Thank you for the It’s All About Relationship Lessons. It is as I stated in the beginning; now I’m waiting for Christ to bring someone to all of your students to allow us to share the Good News.”

Jaanz got the help he needed.  Keep praying for him.  Several people responded to the request for help for him.  We will be able to send him some each month for several months while he is recuperating.  I talked to him the other day.  He asked me if I was sitting down.  I said yes.  He said that due to his accident and his staying in the (very crowded) house where his ‘adopted mother’ and her other adult kids and families live, he has had more time with her than he has for years.  As a result he has taken her through the Peace Treaty and as soon as he is able to, she wants him to baptize her.  He said ‘he knows’ that is why this all happened; it gave him the opportunity to be in the house with her and spend time with her.  If you want to read the ‘rest of his story before this incident read it in my book; Amazon Kindle.
“My Journey with Jaanz; the transformation of a terrifying man.”
I am communicating with a number of Nationals in India who want to learn how to use IAAR.
Jim Phillips is activiely working in Kenya, Uganda and Ukraine in teaching leaders how to use the IAAR.  He just returned from there.  He teaches how to use IAAR and other leadership courses.  He told me the new MANTRA of all the leaders there is “It’s All About Relationship.”
I’m working with a Christian businessman from Ethiopia who has lived in San Diego for many years.  I’m meeting with him every week.  I took him through the lessons.  He loves them.  He told me there are 100,000 people from Africa living in a 7 mile area of San Diego where he lives.  He asked me to help him reach these people. He is going to translate the IAAR into Ethiopian.

FOLKS; DO YOU HAVE ENGLISH SPEAKING MISSIONARIES or NATIONALS YOU ARE SUPPORTING?  Have them sign up for this course.  It just might increase the fruit from their work.
Why not try it????

We are working on getting the IAAR into many languages!!!

Effective disciple-making for the 21st century

A Course in “Relational Evangelism”
Jesus Christ was concise and clear in commissioning His church: “… Go and make disciples of all the nations.” At Hope International University (HIU), we believe that an essential part of being a highly effective disciple-maker is being well prepared to share one’s faith.  One way to do this is our online“Relational Evangelism” course offered through our School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT).
More than 35 years ago, John Hendee developed a comprehensive model for equipping Christians in how to make new disciples by being trained how to use “A Peace Treaty With God”.  He developed this while serving as Minister of Evangelism at Central Christian Church in Mesa, AZ.  Since then many people who have been trained in the use of this model have used it to lead thousands of people into a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ among people of different cultures around the world.
Recently, this approach has been revised, updated, and renamed as“It’s All About Relationship” (IAAR). It is a powerful model for effective twenty-first century disciple making/evangelism. The IAAR model employs a deceptively simple-looking (but biblical!) process that has embedded within it a highly effective relational approach for creating opportunities to share the Gospel one-on-one using a comprehensive but concise and powerful tool to make new disciples.
Individuals and groups of any size may take the course through HIU’s Open Class course format for only $50 per person.  This course can also be taken for credit at a cost of $300 (for Bachelors or Masters level credit).  Churches wanting to transition to being a disciple-making church will find this course exactly what they need to train an army of ambassadors for Christ to be effective in sharing the Gospel.
John Hendee is also working on launching an ambassador’s support and coaching network which course participants will be invited to be part of as a way to help you be successful at applying your training once you leave the virtual classroom. We want to see you succeed in reaching the lost in your own communities for Jesus Christ!
To sign up for the course, contact Phil Towne at pbtowne@hiu.edu.
If you have questions about this training opportunity, contact John Hendee directly at john.hendee@cox.net.
